Get a 5min PP, along with a 2man advantage for 2mins and can't do anything with it but miss the net. "Contenders" right, when the Avs lose tonight and SJ wins, the Avs will be in the 2nd wildcard spot and dropping. Pathetic...

If you don't score on a 5min PP, let alone a full 2 minute 2 man advantage, you don't deserve to win the game, the PP and the PK have been garbage and seems like they just don't want to change how they are doing things.


(Yes I was pissed last night after that, so I ranted, but still stand by it)

Fair enough. I was ready to stop watching at that point too. Having Rantanen back alone will be a huge boost for our pp. Our second unit is pretty much our first right now and guys that would almost never see pp time are running the second

Having Rants back for sure will help, but if we keep losing a player every game, not sure how much he can help

So, we lose some players to injury..... bit of bad luck for the Avs, yet their organizational depth is allowing them to stay competitive and win. I’d say that’s a sign of being a great team! When they get healthy and their stars are back in the lineup I’d say they are for sure a contender.
